Sale of Used Photo Equipment

Do you have any surplus photographic equipment which you would not like to keep? Do you want to get rid of them at a reasonable price? Here is a golden opportunity!

Thanks to our President, the Society has obtained a free table at the coming Camera Swap Meet at Richmond Library on Sunday, JUN-01-2008 for members of our Society to sell their gears. The beauty of the plan is that you don't have to do a thing, just bring your equipment to the Venue in the morning and collect the money in the afternoon if it is sold (if not, you get your thing back)! It's that simple!

A small service charge will be levied but you can rest assure that the money will not go into the pocket of any individual, it will be used to fund future activities of the Society, in other words it will eventually go back to You!

In summary, the scheme is as follows:

	A non-refundable display fee of $2 per item will be charged.
	A commission of 5% (subject to a maximum of $20) of the sold price of the article will be charged.
	Members who wish to sell any piece of equipment should deliver it to the venue before 10am on JUN-01 and collect them (or the money, less the commission, from the item sold) between 3pm and 4pm on the same day. One of our Executive Committee members will be at the lobby to welcome you.
